8. Line up the two molded tabs of the lower dome with the two parallel surfaces on the
housing. Push the lower dome up and verify that it snaps into place on both sides.
Connecting the Wires to the Interface Board
Use the supplied terminal blocks to connect the power, alarm, and relay wires to their
connectors on the interface board. Provide an Ethernet cable to establish the network
connection of the S2800e.
The camera comes with the following terminal blocks:
2-pin terminal block for power (TB1)
8-pin terminal block for the local alarms (TB2)
3-pin terminal block for the local relay
5-pin terminal block for the Nextiva signals (already installed)
Connecting Power
Prepare the power connection using the supplied 2-pin terminal block (TB1). The S2800e
cameras use 24V AC power.
