4.0 User Programmable Features
The ICU 16 Control Unit has various user programmable features such as chiming zones and test facilities
for testing the system detectors and sounders and strobes.
To program the system each programming option is always preceded in the same way;
first enter the user

,an OK beep is emitted , the display changes to

0 0
” flashing, press the ,
PG (program) Key , the display changes to

P
” indicating entry to user programming mode, it is now
possible to proceed with the programming, each user programming option is included below
The “ RESET”
key can be pressed
at any time to cancel the procedure and return the control unit to “day
/ unset” mode, without storing the new settings, this will only work up until the point when the store button is
pressed, once store has been pressed.
4.1 Recalling Alarm Events
The control unit stores information on the last 10 alarm events. This may be recalled at any time.
To recall alarm events, enter :
Quick Keys Sequence.

This causes the indication to change to the next most recent alarm events. When the last
entry is displayed, pressing “
forward / P3” again results in an error beep.
