VideoJet 10
The VideoJet 10 is provided with a relay output for switching exter-
nal equipment, e.g. lamps or acoustic alarms. This switched output
can be manually activated during an active connection with the
VideoJet 10. In addition, when suitably configured the output can be
activated as a response to an alarm signal, for example, to auto-
matic acoustic alarms or to other devices.

Remove connector block from
Alarm I/O
socket.

Insert conductor into connector and secure tightly – check that
screws are securely tightened.

Replace the connector firmly back onto the
Alarm I/O
socket.
Microphone/
loudspeaker
The VideoJet 10 provides an audio channel via the jack
Audio I/O
.
The bidirectional audio signals are simultaneously transmitted
along with the video signals. This can be used to drive a loud-
speaker or door communication system as required.

Connect an audio source (mono line) to the jack
Audio I/O
of the
transmitter.

Connect the loudspeaker to the jack
Audio I/O
of the receiver.
Data interfaces
The bidirectional data interface ports are intended as control ports
for equipment connected to the VideoJet 10, e.g. a dome camera
with motorized lens.
The port
COM1: RS232/485
supports RS232, RS422 and RS485
transmission protocols.
Warning!
The maximum rating of the relay contact is 30 V and 1 A.
