Using the System
5.1
Exposure Parameters
1.
Select the receptor type: Film or Digital sensor. The indicator light of the selected
projection will turn on.
2.
Select the type of patient: Adult or Child. The indicator light of the selected projection
will turn on.
3.
Select the tooth where an image is to be taken. The indicator light of the selected
projection will turn on.
The preprogrammed time, kV, and mA values appear on the LCD display. It may be
necessary to increase or decrease the kV and mA, or time from the preset values for
one exposure.
To do so:
a.
Press the parameter adjustment key (
).
b.
Increase or decrease the values by using the up or down button (
).
c.
Press any other button (Tooth, Film, or Patient Type) to return the display to the
preset values. For manual adjustment, refer to section
5.5 X-ray Generation
Limit
.
X-ray generation limit value is determined in units of kV x mA
based on the exposure time.
If the parameter you set exceeds the safety limit, the “Over Value”
message is displayed on the top left of the LCD. Unless this
message is cleared, you cannot perform irradiation.
You can change the default values by performing steps

and pressing the Save (
) button. If you want to reset to the
factory default settings, contact the service center.
