Flaps:

Check that flaps go from zero to 20° position with
first push of switch “DN”, verify position indication on
EFIS

Check that flaps go from 20° position to 40° with
sec
ond push of switch “DN”, verify position
indication on EFIS

Check that flaps go from 40° to 20° with first push of
switch “UP”
-
Check that flaps go from 20° to 0° with first push of
switch “UP”

Ensure operation through full range of travel without
binding
Note: some aircraft may be configured differently.

Elevator Trim:

Ensure operation through full range of travel without
binding

Verify proper position indication on EFIS

Altimeter:
-
Must indicate within 50 feet of field elevation when
set to correct barometric pressure

Start engine using procedure in Pilot’s Operating
Handbook, Section 4

Set 1700 RPM:

Perform magneto check
-
Drop not to exceed 150 RPM or 75 RPM differential
between magnetos
-
No engine roughness

Apply Carburetor Heat:

Verify slight drop in engine RPM

Verify increase in carb temp
