PREPARATION FOR SERVICE
(a)
Engine preparation for service
–
Refer to the latest edition of the engine
manufacturer’s Service Le
tter.
(b)
Remove all covers, tapes, and tags from the aircraft.
(c)
Reinstall the battery (refer to Chapter 5.7.20) and the ELT batteries (refer to
Chapter 5.7.21).
(d)
Fill the fuel tanks (if applicable).
(e)
Thoroughly clean and visually inspect the airplane. It is recommended to carry-
out at least a 100-hour inspection prior to flying the aircraft (refer to Chapter
5.4).
