Clean the Scan Bars
The following QR code image contains a link to a video to get more information
about cleaning and replacing the scan bar.
Note:
You should clean the scan bars periodically, depending on how often you
use the scanner.
1. On the left of the front panel, press
Power
to turn off the printer.
2. Turn off the power switch at the rear, and disconnect the power cord
connected to the printer.
3. Press the two small indented buttons at the front of the scanner to open the
scanner cover.
WARNING
Take care while the scanner lid is open to avoid trapping or crushing your
fingers or hand.
4. Lift the scanner cover.
