CHAINS
•
Snow chains significantly increase the grip of the machine on a snow cover. Therefore, we recommend that you always usethem when
sweeping snow.
•
Fitting and attaching snow chains is not very different from fitting snow chains to car wheels.
•
The rungs of the snow chains fit into the gaps between the projections of the tyre tread. The number of chain rungs is one quarter the
number of rungs in the tyre tread; when fitting the chains to the tyre, leave
three empty gaps
in the tyre tread – see
Fig. 18
•
Check the chains after a few dozen metres and, if necessary, tighten the tensioning chain.
