Test Valve Operation
29. Set percent timer to 0.0% (zero percent), to keep
machine from moving.
30. Turn water on to verify valve operation.
31. Push a
Start button to start the machine, ensure
machine is locked in and running, but not moving.
32. Do the following to verify that each valve is work-
ing:
Use the sequence valves feature. See Figure 37-1.
(a) Push
Menu, Programs,
and
VRI
to display
the VRI-iS screen. See Figure 37-1.
(b) Push the VRI-iS Diagnostics button.
(c) Push the Sequence Valves button to test
valve operation.
This feature will turn all valves on, and then
turn each valve off for 5 seconds, in se-
quence, beginning with valve 1 and ending
with the last valve.
The technician can follow the pipeline from
pivot point to LRDU and verify that each
valve turns off and on.
(d) When prompted to initiate valve sequencing,
push the Yes button.
• If the valves work correctly installation is
complete.
• If the valves do not work correctly, verify
proper installation of valves, valve connec-
tions and dip switch settings.
