General
4.1.1 Bus Top K / Solar,
electrical
If the hatch fails to operate in a
travel bus when in open position,
it may be operated with a screw-
driver after removing the inside
cover panelling of the actuator.
If the hatch fails to operate in a
public transport bus when in
open position, it may be operated
with a screwdriver after removing
the round, red panel (if fitted) of
the inside cover panelling of the
actuator.
Should the red panel or an opening
not exist, drill a hole with a diameter
of 10 mm into the inside cover
panelling as illustrated in the figure
below.
4.1.2 Bus Top Solar (Fan)
After failure of the fans it is recom-
mended to replace the cover
assembly. Repairs may only be
performed by the manufacturer.
4.1.3 Bus Top C
If the hatch fails to operate in a
public transport bus in the open
position, it may be operated after
removal of the bus roof fairing
(in the hatch area) via the worm
drive shaft using an 8 mm spanner
wrench through a slot in the cover
inside half panelling and for dates of
manufacture 09/99 and up using a
7 mm socket wrench. The variant
with cover inside full panelling first
requires its removal. Then the
procedure is identical with that for
the variant with cover inside half
panelling.
