Emergency
Operation
CAUTION
OPERATE ONLY IN CASE OF
EMERGENCY!
The inside emergency handle is
pulled backwards against the
direction of forward motion.
The outside emergency handle
(T-shaped handle) is pulled up in
vertical direction.
If the Bus Top K / Solar is installed
and connected and with the ignition
on the indicator light emergency
operation / outside handle locked is
illuminated.
NOTE
The outside emergency handle can
only be operated when unlocked
(green indicator label on locking
slide is visible).

2.4.1 Manual Locking
CAUTION
Locking of the outside emergency
handle permitted only when vehicle
is parked.
•
Remove locking slide cover as
applicable.
•
Using a screwdriver operate
locking slide sideways.
When locked the red indicator
label of the locking slide is visible
through the opening. If installed and
connected, the indicator light
emergency operation / outside
handle locked will illuminate.
CAUTION
Lock must be released before start
of journey (green indicator label of
locking slide is visible).
