Trouble-shooting
You may be able to trouble-shoot the following malfunctions yourself. If not, note down
the error message in full (message, F and E numbers) and call Customer Services.

Error messages

Possible cause

▪
Various situations can
lead to an error mes-
sage.
▸ Acknowledge the error message by
touching «OK».
▸ Switch the power supply off for about
1 minute.
▸ Switch the power supply back on.
▸ If the error appears again, note down
the error message in full along with
the serial number (SN) (see page
45).
▸ Disconnect from the power supply.
▸ Contact Customer Services.

«UX/EXX»
▪
Interruption in the
power supply.
▸ Acknowledge the error message by
touching «OK».
▸ Switch the power supply off for about
1 minute.
▸ Switch the power supply back on.
▸ If the error appears again, note down
the error message in full along with
the serial number (SN) (see page
45).
▸ Disconnect from the power supply.
▸ Contact Customer Services.

«Residual heat
– Do not re-
move the water
tank.»

The temperature of
the water in the boiler
is too high.
▸ Wait for it to cool down (this can take
up to 30 minutes).
For safety reasons, the water is not
pumped off until it has dropped below a
certain temperature.
The appliance can still be used.

«Descaling
failed – Appli-
ance was not
descaled.»

Used unsuitable de-
scaler.
▸ Descale again using the recommen-
ded descaler.
▪
Descaling was not
carried out correctly.
▸ If the message does not disappear
after repeating the descaling process
several times, note down the error
message in full along with the serial
number (SN) (see page 45).
