Hygiene recommendation
Washing almost exclusively with low temperatures will result in the formation of foul
smelling coatings in the appliance.
To prevent this, a «Hygiene recommendation» indicates when a wash of at least 60° C is
recommended for hygiene reasons.

▸ Run the next wash cycle at least at 60 °C.

Each time after use
▸ Clean the detergent compartments (see page
27).
▸ To allow the washing drum and door seal to dry
between wash days, open the appliance door and
pull the detergent dispenser drawer out as far as
it will go.
– If the appliance door is closed after use, it will
open automatically after 5 minutes to allow the
washing drum and door seal to dry.
▸ Carefully remove any deposits or foreign objects
from out of the door seal.
Incorrect handling can result in damage to the appliance!
The drum illumination is located in the door seal. Care must be taken when clean-
ing the door seal to avoid damaging the drum illumination.
