9 Demo mode
8.12 Hygiene info
When the function is turned on, a wash of at least
60 °C is recommended whenever for hygiene reas-
ons the formation of foul smelling coatings in the ap-
pliance is to be prevented. ▪ On (factory setting)

8.13 Childproof lock
The childproof lock prevents a programme from be-
ing started accidentally. The appliance can only be
operated after first entering the code 731. ▪ On

8.14 Drum illumination
When this function is activated, the drum illumination
automatically switches on whenever the appliance
door is opened and switches off whenever it is

8.15 V-ZUG-Home
With V-ZUG-Home (see page 23), you can access
your appliances over the V-ZUG App to, for instance
▪ switch off a running appliance
▪ call up the status of your household appliances.

When the network connection is activated, energy consumption in the standby
mode is increased.
8.16 Factory settings
The factory settings can be restored. The language if
changed is not reset to the factory setting.

Saved favourites are also cleared when factory settings are restored.
9 Demo mode
The appliance can be fully operated in the demo mode, but it will not wash.
The demo mode can only be switched on or off when the appliance door is open.
9.1 Switching on
▸ Touch the button.
– The appliance door opens.
– The drum illumination switches on.
▸ Simultaneously hold the , and buttons depressed for 5 seconds until the
Demo mode menu appears in the TouchDisplay.
– In the TouchDisplay appears: «Status: Off»
