5 Operating the appliance
5.11 Aborting a programme
Once a programme has started, only the spin speed can be changed. For any
other changes, the programme must be aborted.
▸ Touch the button repeatedly until «Draining» is
displayed.
– This part of the programme cannot be skipped
and will be carried out in full.
5.12 With childproof lock activated

How to turn the childproof lock on/off is described in «User settings».
▸ Close the appliance door.
– The input field for the code appears in the
TouchDisplay.
▸ Touch the digits 7, 3, 1 in sequence.
▸ Touch the
button.
– The appliance is unlocked.
▸ Touch the button for the desired programme, e.g.
.
– The appliance can now be operated without
further regard to the childproof lock. If no pro-
gramme selection is made within the next 20
seconds, the input field for the code appears in
the TouchDisplay again.

After being unlocked, the appliance can be operated normally. The childproof lock is
automatically activated as soon as the programme starts.

▸ Touch the button.
– The input field for the code appears in the
TouchDisplay.
▸ Touch the digits 7, 3, 1 in sequence.
▸ Touch the
button.
– The appliance is unlocked.
▸ Touch the button repeatedly until «Draining»
appears in the TouchDisplay.
– The appliance door opens.

5.13 Drum illumination
The drum illumination automatically switches on whenever the appliance door is opened
and switches off when it is closed. If the appliance door is left open, the drum illumina-
tion switches off automatically within 2 minutes.
▸ Touch the button to switch the drum illumina-
tion on or off when the appliance door is open.
