3 INSTALLATION
PROCEDURE
This section contain detailed instructions for installing Urmet Domus 1092 Easy Dome IV camera. These instructions
assume that the installer has a good knowledge of installation techniques and is capable of adopting safe installation
methods.
3.1
EASY DOME IV MINIMUM CONFIGURATION
The Easy Dome camera contains a built-in receiver that decodes the controls from the 1092/690-693 control keypad
(refer to chapter 4.2) or from the system keyboard ref.1090/694 (refer to chapter 4.8). At least one keypad is therefore
needed to control the camera. In addition to configuring operating parameters, the keypad is used to manage horizontal
axis (360° continuous) and vertical axis (180°) panning and tilting, motorised zooming, recalling and programming the
Easy Dome preset sequences.
3.2 INSTALLATION
TYPES
Easy Dome IV cameras can be installed in six ways:
Wall installation using the housing Ref 1092/700 and the standard bracket Ref. 1092/703.
Wall installation using the housing Ref 1092/700 and the standard bracket Ref. 1092/703, with Power Box
1092/705.
Ceiling installation using the housing Ref 1092/700 and the ceiling mounting kit (pendant-mount) Ref.
1092/704.
Ceiling installation using the housing Ref 1092/700 and the ceiling mounting kit (pendant-mount) Ref. 1092/704,
with Power Box 1092/705.
Ceiling surface installation using the surface ceiling housing kit Ref. 1092/702
Inside ceiling installation using the false ceiling housing kit Ref. 1092/701
Two adapters for fitting the bracket and IP66 connection box are available. The first is a corner adapter (1092/706) and
the second is a pole adapter (1092/707).
The following sections show how to use these adapters.

IMPORTANT NOTE
Regardless of the type of installation selected, configure Dome parameters beforehand (protocol, address, baud
rate, termination resistance) (See pages 54 and 58 of this manual).
It is advisable to
install a power on/off switch for camera maintenance operations.
Check that the specific jumper present on the electronic board is inserted across RS – 485 lines. To
access the electronic board, lift the flap on the base of the housing 1092/700 and of Kits 1092/701 and
1092/702.
