1 GENERAL
DESCRIPTION
The
Villa IP Max Kit
is a full IP one-household video door phone system with Cat5 cable wiring and RJ45 connector
for the interconnection of several devices. The system works on a dedicated IP network or is connected to a pre-
existing IP network: for example, it can be connected to a home ADSL network which in most cases gives access
to the Internet for “Call forwarding” applications to mobile devices (option
Remote
). No centralisation server is
required: once the various devices have been connected and wired, and after a simple preliminary con
fi
guration
step (see the section
10 FIRST CONFIGURATION ON SYSTEM START-UP: SETUP WIZARD
), the system can
perform the main video door phone operations. A second con
fi
guration step (see the section
10.1 ADVANCED
CONFIGURATION
) allows other system parameters to be set.
The main features of the
Villa IP Max Kit
are outlined here below:
System
One-household hands-free colour video door phone kit;
Connection of all devices via the Cat5 cable with RJ45 connector;
Power supply to all the devices through Power over Ethernet (PoE) inputs;
Possible connection of up to 2 calling stations to the system;
Possible connection of up to 4 indoor stations in the apartment (1 “Master” and 3 “Slaves”), called in parallel;
Possible system expansion with max 2 special decoders (again with power supply via PoE) for the activation
of electric loads (for example, actuation of stair lights).
Calling station
Implemented on Sinthesi Steel 2-module mechanics;
Colour camera with wide angle lens;
1 pre-wired call button;
Activation of pedestrian access electric lock via impulse capacitive discharge with low hold current;
Activation of garage gate electric lock with clean contact relays;
Input for hall button.
Indoor station
Hands-free video door phone indoor station with 7” colour screen and capacitive touch-screen;
Hands-free conversation mode;
5 call tones selectable by the user (call from outdoor station, intercom and

oor call);
Adjustable call volume with available timed muting function (mute);
Provided with an embedded device for hearing problems;
Activation of electric loads via a dedicated button (for pre-set systems);
Recorded video mail message presence noti

cation;
Short audio message recording function (Post-It);
Home automation applications (Yokis and IperHome) and MIFARE integrated access control;
Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and second LAN connections.
4 PoE + 4 port switch
Switch with 8 ports of which 4 operating according to PoE standard;
Operation in Fast Ethernet (100Mbps) and Ethernet (10Mbps) modes.
Basic operation
Video door phone calling from outdoor station;
Activation of pedestrian access electric lock and second (garage gate) electric lock;
Setup for connecting a hall button for locally operating the pedestrian gate electric lock;
Calling station auto-on function by any indoor stations;
Intercom calls between indoor stations within the same apartment (if several indoor stations are available);
Possible connection of a supplementary ringer for call repeating;
Activation of Yokis radio modules from any indoor station;
Call forwarding to mobile devices (option
