8 INSTALLATION OF THE POE SWITCH
The switch can be installed on a table top, supported by specially supplied feet, or fi xed to the wall with the
screws and wall anchors supplied with the product.
8.1 LED OPERATING STATE
PWR-POWER LED
On green The switch is powered
Off Switch is not powered
INDICAZIONE LEDS PORTE PoE DA 1 A 4
PoE Active-Leds Verdi
On green The PoE device is connected to the port (from 1 to 4) and correctly powered
Off No PoE device connected to the port (from 1 to 4)
PoE Fault-Leds Gialli
On yellow
This indicates one of the following problems is presents and the port (from 1 to 4) is not
powered:
• Short-circuit to line
• The required power exceeds the available limit
Off The PoE port is working correctly
PoE Max-Led Giallo
On yellow This indicates that the available PoE power is less than 7W
Yellow blinking This indicates that the Max PoE LED was active during the previous two minutes
Off The PoE ports are working normally

9 WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
Fit the Cat5 wire in a RJ45 plug with Urmet logo:
Insert the wire in the guide respecting the colour coding shown (Standard T568B).

Cut the wires which protrude from the guide by approximately 5 mm, insert the guide in the plug and crimp the
plug with a speci
fi c tool.
