INHIBIT INPUT
This command is generated by the tamperproof unit to inform the curtain of the system state (on or off). The INHIBIT
command, when present (i.e. when the system is off) allows:
•
alarm memory display
•
blocking of the alarm relay to reduce wear.
When the INHIBIT command is not present (i.e. when the system is up and running), it allows displaying of alarm events.
The INHIBIT command is present when +12V is present on the corresponding wire (brown).
The INHIBIT command is not present when either 0V is present on the corresponding wire (brown) or is not connected.
RX PROGRAMMING
Each Rx column is provided with two jumpers used to program
operating functions:
•
INTACT JUMPERS: POINT-TO-POINT BEAM MODE
An alarm is generated when a single beam is intercepted for at
least one second or two parallel beams are intercepted for >0.1
seconds.
•
YELLOW JUMPER CUT: PARALLEL BEAM MODE
An alarm is generated when two parallel beams are
intercepted for >0.1 seconds.
•
TWO CUT JUMPERS: CROSSED BEAM MODE
An alarm is generated when a single beam is intercepted for at
least one second or two beams are intercepted for >0.1
seconds.
IMPORTANT:
The minimum range in crossed beam mode is
generally 0.9 metres. This distance may be increased if the
columns are installed in a brightly illuminated environment.
TX PROGRAMMING
Each Tx column is provided with one jumper used for programming the transmitted optical power corresponding to:
•
INTACT JUMPER REDUCED OPTICAL POWER
•
CUT JUMPER: MAXIMUM OPTICAL POWER
The following ranges can be obtained according to the selected optical power:

IMPORTANT:
Faults and detection problems may occur in the event of installations near reflecting surfaces due to
optical coupling effects. In most cases, such problems can be solved by setting reduced optical power and not cutting the
jumper on the Tx. Always check full operation of the curtain before final installation.
