INSTALLATION
•
Connect the columns (receiver and transmitter) opposite each others at the same height (the optical Tx power can
be programmed according to the distance between the two columns, see Tx programming). Trace the fastening
screw holes and drill the supporting surface. Intermediate blocks are provided to improve adherence of the column to
the wall: see note 1 for how to use these blocks, otherwise go to the next step.
•
To fasten the columns to the wall, insert the fastening screws in the slots and tighten them (figure 6).
•
Insert the rubber oval seal (included) as shown in figure 4.
•
Make the wire slide in the specific slot to use the rear wire passage (figure 6).
•
Cut the programming jumpers (see Tx and Rx programming).
•
Cut the column stop pins (on Rx and Tx) and carefully remove all burring. This will allow appropriate thermal dilation
compensation (figure 6).
•
Close and fasten the cover with the specific screw (see figure 5).
NOTE 1: COLUMN FASTENING TO THE WALL
•
Trace the holes for the fastening screws and drill holes for the intermediate blocks if needed (figure 8).
•
Fasten the intermediate blocks (with the appropriate screws) making sure that the fastening tab can turn (see figure 7).
•
Fasten the column to the wall using the screws provided.
•
Push the intermediate block tabs with a screwdriver making
them turn (figure 9).
