The Pump Relay Box 
comes with a ¾-inch 
thread for mounting to 
circulators. Some 
manufacturers produce 
pumps that allow for 
two electrical 
connections on the 
motor housing. (See 

Figure 4-13

.) When 

this option is available, 
the Pump Relay Box 
will thread directly into 
this tapping for easy 
mounting. When this 
option is not available, 
use standard electrical 
boxes with pump relays.

The Climate Co˘ntrol - Multifunction system offers additional flexibility and 
can be daisy-chained — where two pumps turn on simultaneously (e.g., in a 
heat exchanger application when the primary pump needs to turn on at the 
same time as the secondary pump). The two connectors that come with each 
Pump Relay Box are universal (i.e., the ports are not dedicated).
