Engine start
6.1 Introduction of the engine starting control system

This is the front panel, it include the welding operation controls and the engine start or stop operation controls.

Functional and operation instruction
1. if the air temperature is below 0 O C use preheating function to
help start. (start aid device).
2. before start engine, Press this button and hold for 30s, release
it, and then start engine.
3. if the engine is running, it is dangerous to press this button!
1. is a 2-position toggle switch. you can select “run”(up position),
“auto”(down position)
2. when run position is selected, the engine running speed will be
1500rpm.
3. when the auto position is selected, if the generator has no load,
the running speed will be 1150rpm, the engine running speed will
reduce from 1500rpm to 1150rpm if the welding is stopped
or there is no auxiliary power being used. The engine running
speed will rise from 1150rpm to 1500rpm immediatly once the
welding or auxiliary power is used.
1. it is a 2-position toggle switch. you can select “on” (up) and
“off” (down)
2. switch is set to the “on” position , engine control system is
electricaly live. Then the engine can probably be preheated or
started.
3. switch is set to the “off”, battery power source has been shut off,
the engine stop.
4, it is the only solution to stop engine normally.
(except the emergency stop)
5. If engine is not started in 20 seconds the power will shut down,
turn off then on to reset.
