APPENDIX H – 2001, 2002 TO LAPTOP COMPUTER CABLE CONNECTIONS

The NRT/NRM can connect to a laptop computer for setup and configuration using Starlog
4 Software.

When this connection is required the cable below is required.

If you are using a computer without a DB9 RS 232C connector / Serial interface a USB to
RS 232 C adaptor will be needed.

Please contact Unidata for some brands of USB to RS 232 C adaptors which we have
tested and found to work correctly with the NRT/NRM and a laptop computer.
