If using two 5000 lb. capacity forklifts, position
one on each side of box and secure using a
chain from each fork down to the lift lugs. Again,
Do Not string a single chain across both forks
to the two lift lugs.
Lift box off of ground so it will just clear the
undercarriage.
WARNING! DO NOT WORK UNDER
MACHINE AT ANY TIME. INADVERTENT
FALLING OF BOX WILL CAUSE PERSONAL
INJURY OR DEATH.
WARNING! SEED TENDER BOX MUST
BE SECURELY FASTENED TO UNDERCAR-
RIAGE AT ALL TIMES. DO NOT FILL BOX OR
PIVOT CONVEYOR UNTIL BOX IS SECURED TO
UNDERCARRIAGE. FAILURE TO DO SO COULD
CAUSE BOX TO TURN OVER ON ITS SIDE RE-
SULTING IN PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH.
Lift seed tender box using one large forklift with
minimum 10,000 lb. lift capacity, or two 5000
lb. capacity forklifts. Position single forklift forks
through box, and secure using four individual
chains. Wrap each chain around the fork and
around the lift lug. Do this at all four corners
of the box.
ASSEMBLING SEED TENDER BOX TO UNDERCARRIAGE
Do Not use a single chain strung across
both forks!
Hold Down Bracket
Position the conveyor to the left-hand side of
the undercarriage, then position undercarriage
under box, and lower box onto undercarriage.
Fasten at all four corners using the brackets
provided, and two 5/8x2 bolts and locknuts at
each corner.
If using a undercarriage other than the Unver-
ferth undercarriage, follow same procedure, and
fasten securely using the four brackets provided.
Any other method of securing must be suffi cient
to restrict movement in any direction.
