DETAILED PROCEDURE CONTINUED
TO CHANGE THE SETUP &
CALIBRATION NUMBERS:
1. Press
[ON]
to turn on the scale.
2. To enter Short Form Calibration & Setup press
and hold the
[ZERO]
key, then press the
[ON]
key and hold until the message displayed is
"SETUP".
5. When the correct SETUP number is displayed,
press the [
ON
] key to advance to the
CAL
number.
This displays the
CAL
message, followed by
the
CAL
number.
3. Next, the actual
SETUP
number is displayed.
(NOTE: Factory
SETUP
number is 146040.)
3. Press the
[ZERO]
key for additional help infor-
mation during Setup and Calibration.
4. If the correct
SETUP
number is displayed,
press the
[ON]
key to advance to the
CAL
number.
(NOTE: Factory
CAL
number is 32640.)
A. Press the [
SELECT
] key to cause the
“fl ashing” digit to count upward.
B. Press the
[FUNCTION]
key to select
which digit is fl ashing.
The
CAL
number is not a weight. It is a refer-
ence value the indicator uses to determine the
weight. This number directly affects the accuracy
of the scale system.
Change the
CAL
number using the same method
described in step 4. When the display shows
the correct number, press the
[ON]
key. This
causes the number to be stored permanently
in the indicator and returns the indicator to the
weighing mode.
TO RETURN TO WEIGH MODE:
1. To exit setup without changing any values,
press and hold the
[TARE]
key, then press the
[ON]
key.
