7.15 MISCELLANEOUS PARTS
7.15.1 Transducers Holders and Cable Hooks
The transducer holders are connected with a simple thumbscrew that is hand-tightened. No tools are required.
To Remove the Transducer Holders and Cable Hooks :
1.
Remove all transducers from the transducer holders.
2.
Undo the thumbscrews holding the endocavity transducer holders and the ones holding the transducer holder
and cable hooks to the console (four (4) in total). .
3. Remove the cable hook.

The transducer holder is held in place by two (2) tapered mounting flanges. Pushing the holder toward the
back of the console will loosen it from these flanges, allowing it to be pulled down and removed.
Note: For best results, Ultrasonix recommends removing the transducer holders before cleaning ( 11.2.7 ). This will
allow the operator to clean all the various curves and folds in a more effective manner.

toward the back of the console before pulling down to remove it.
