Ensure that both snap locks on head and foot side of the ultraSCOOP STRETCHER
(X-RAY) are locked and only then secure the patient with the straps.

Secure all 3 patient safety straps.
The latches must always audibly
lock into place. For
safety reasons, subject the latches to a test by pulling at the appropriate point. Ensure that
the injured party’s breathing is not encumbered by the traction of the straps.

Check all buckles and straps before lifting and transporting the patient.
4. Cleaning and Care
Never use products with aggressive agents (bleach, ammonia, etc.)
for cleaning, avoid the use of scratching materials to remove stains
such as brushes, steel wool and knife blades.
For
disinfection
,
you can use commercially available alcohol-based agents. Other
solutions or cleaning chemicals may damage the material.
Safty belts:
The belts that have gotten wet should only dry naturally. Avoid direct heat
radiation from heat sources. These factors could damage the material.
Metallic parts:
Simply clean with a sponge drenched with water and normal neuter soap,
or, if necessary, with proper disinfectant. Rinse and dry carefully. After that apply a thin
protective wax coating.
Plastic parts:
Clean with a sponge drenched with water diluted with disinfectant and then
rinse and dry completely.
Lubrication:
Lubrication can be simply executed by applying in the indicated points of the
figure beneath one or two drops of medium viscosity oil. (Figure 7).
