3.1 Adjustment of the scoop stretchers length

The stretcher‘s lenght can be adjusted to 4 different lengths depending on the patient’s
size by using the pofile extension of the foot area (Figure 3a,b). The device can also be
used to fold the scoop stretcher for storage.
To adjust the length of the stretcher, follow these steps:
1. Place the closed scoop stretcher in a horizontal position.
2. Open the right and left blocking device (Figure 4a,b,c,d).
3. Pull out the two foot profiles and adjust to the desired position.
4. After setting the desired length, close the previously opened blocking devices again.
Check whether the blockings of the two profile pull-outs are audibly engaged in one of the
marked positions after pulling them out.
The stretcher‘s lenght can be adjusted to 4
different lengths.

5. Check that the foot profile is properly engaged. The foot profile must not be able to be
pulled out.
