This
integrated
accessory
provides
dry,
oil
‐
free
compressed
air
to
protect
the
VersaLASER’s
optics
and
assist
with
cutting
and
etching
of
materials
that
tend
to
flame
up
or
produce
heavy
quantities
of
smoke
or
debris.
It
MUST
be
used
in
conjunction
with
either
the
Air
Assist
Cone
or
AABS
accessories.
The
Air
Compressor
is
designed
to
automatically
power
on
when
the
VersaLASER
starts
a
job,
and
then
power
off
automatically
and
finishes
it.
WARNING:
The
use
of
compressed
air
IS
NOT
intended
to
decrease
maintenance
of
the
VersaLASER.
Actually,
it
has
been
known
to
increase
the
frequency
of
cleaning
maintenance
due
to
debris
being
blown
around,
inside
the
machine,
during
processing.
This
device
is
not
intended
for
continuous
use
(longer
that
20
minute
jobs),
nor
high
‐
humidity
environments,
otherwise
serious
damage
to
the
compressor
may
occur.
