Replacing the Fan
There are five fans located together near the front of the system. To replace it, follow
these procedures.
1.
Remove the cabinet cover (see the previous section in this chapter).
2.
Remove either side’s fan cable connector. Then remove the two screws securing the
fan holder to the system chassis.
3.
Remove the fan (both single and dual fan) from the holder by prying open both sides
of the holder and pushing from below to allow the fan to slide out.
Reverse the above sequence when installing the new fan.
