Diskette Key

The <

Í

> key causes the message “CONNECT TO SERIAL PORT” to be displayed on the LCD. The

key has no other functionality but reminds the user that if he wishes to electronically log data, he must
connect the monitor to a computer via the internal serial port.

User Identification

To change System Values or to calibrate the instrument, a four-digit User ID (0258) is required. For
security, a Master ID, different from the User ID, is required to view or change the User ID. To change
the User ID, contact your Turner Designs Hydrocarbon Instruments representative or Turner Designs
Hydrocarbon Instruments Service Department at +1 559 253 1414 for assistance with the Master ID.

Once an ID has been entered, if the keypad is not used for 15 minutes, the monitor will automatically
return to the

HOME

screen. The ID will have to be entered again before the monitor values can be

changed or calibration can be performed.

G.4 Fluorescence Display

After the monitor is powered-up or after calibration, the measurement displayed will not react
immediately, but will respond after a delay of about 10 seconds.

LCD Contrast

The contrast of the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) can be adjusted on any screen (except during
calibration) by pressing <
