A. The chassis.
The shredder’s chassis serves as support to various PREMIUM components. It allows
displacing the machine by itself.

. The engine and its drives
The petrol or diesel heat engine is located on top of the shredding unit, it supplies the
energy needed to drive the rotor and the hydraulic system’s oil pump
(

) .
A 22 HP VANGUARD twin cylinder petrol engine or a 27 HP LOMBARDINI Focs three-
cylinder diesel engine with liquid cooling, both at 3600 rpm. For additional information on
the engines, please refer to the manufacturers’ manuals.
The outlet shaft is equipped with a pulley
(

) activating two belts ensuring the rotation of
the shredding rotor. The tension of the belts is adjusted with an idler pulley ( 3 ).
The hydraulic system’s oil pump located on the heat engine activates the feeder’s hydraulic
drive.
