Setting lock setup or run
1. From the
Start
screen, select and open the
Setup
screen.
2. Press the
Lock
soft key.
Lock
Opens to the Lock screen.

3. In the
Lock/Security Modes
screen,
Run
and
Setup
are “disabled” as the default setting.
4. To enable either one, first select
Run
or
Setup
fields (by using
Up/Down
Arrows
).
5. Press
Enter
and the first field will be shaded/selected, and then press
▲
/
▼
Arrows
to
change the numeric value.
Adding a numeric password
Press
Up/Down
arrows to enter a number.
Press
Left/Right
arrow keys to move to the next
field.
Repeat as necessary.

6. Repeat step 5 until the password is entered. When you press
Enter
for the fourth digit, a
secure run mode or secure setup pop-up will appear as confirmation. Once set, the field will display
“Enabled”.
7. Once enabled, follow one of the scenarios below:
For
Secure
run mode to occur, navigate to one of the measurement screens and press the
Run key. A “Secure Run Mode” screen will appear.
For
Secure
setup mode to occur, navigate to the setup screen and the “Secure setup mode”
screen will appear.
