1. Seal all openings of the room to be cleaned.
The room must be sealed in such a way that
no ozone can escape to the environment.
2. Place warning signs indicating the presence
of a high ozone concentration and the risks
related thereto.
3. Make sure that there are no people or ani-
mals in the room to be treated.
4. Place the Airozon 5000 in the centre of the
room.
5. Connect the power cables and connect the
device to the power supply. Observe the
technical parameters.
6. Set the timer to the desired duration of treat-
ment.
7. Switch on the device. The cleaning cycle will
start immediately
.
The ozone generator will
now be running until the set cleaning period
has elapsed. It will then switch off automati-
cally.
Warning!
Risk of injury due to ozone!
Leave the room immediately af-
ter the device has been started!
Operating parameters
The duration of the cleaning process is depending on
a number of factors. The aspects to be taken into ac-
count include:
• type of odour
• odour intensity
• room size and temperature
• material composition of the odour source
• time the room has been exposed to the odour
source and depth up to which the material is
affected by the odour source
If the odour neutralisation is carried out in an un-
heated room that will later be used at higher tem-
peratures, there is a general risk of a subsequent
evaporation of odour-bearing molecules. This is why
the room temperature during cleaning should always
be approx. 5 °C above the temperature that normally
exists when working in the room later on.
The values listed in the following are to provide you
with a basic frame of reference when selecting the
cleaning parameters:
