To import a file open File->Import on the menu bar and select a txt file.

The text file should be in the format specified in Import/Export configuration (Fig. 9.12).
The text file above is comma delimited. Each line corresponds to a certain wire. The last number
in each line is a leading space (1). Leading space is usually the same for all the wires in the file.
Wire #1 has the following parameters:

Message
is the number of the text file column for the section messages.
•
Length
is the number of the text file column for the section lengths.
•
Gap
is the number of the text file column for the section gaps.
•
Leading Space
is the number of the text file column for the leading space.
•
LS Default
is used if Default Value is selected for Leading Space.
•
Trailing Space
is the number of the text file column for the trailing space.
•
TS Default
is used if Default Value is selected for Trailing Space.
•
Delimiter
is a symbol that
separates different values in each line of the text file (e.g.
comma, tab, colon, semicolon, and pipe). If comma is a part of a message different
delimiter should be used (e.g. pipe).
•
Wire Type
is the number of the text file column for the wire type.
