9.5.Laser Parameters and Energy Offset Screens

Laser Configuration is used for laser diagnostics and/or laser tuning only. All values are

factory set for optimum laser performance.

Warning !!!

Do not change any settings unless instructed by authorized

factory representative.

Laser ON/OFF

button turns the Q-Switch on and off

Temperature

boxes display the current and set temperatures of the laser crystals and diode.

Arrow

buttons are used to change the vlaues.

Save

button saves the current setting.

Start Power Test

moves the laser beam into the Beam Dump tube and turns the Q-Switch on.

The button is disabled when laser diode is off. To measure the laser power press the Start Power
Test button. The Power measured in Watts will be displayed. Press Stop Power Test to turn off
the Q-Switch.

Energy Offset screen is used to direct the beam into the beam dump tube:

Laser On

turns the Low energy pilot beam on.
