This section will help prepare the Switch user by describing the

SNMP Configuration
menus
and their respective sub-menus.
System Configuration
Choose
System
Configuration
to access the first item on the
TEG-S40SX main menu. The following menu appears:

You will need to change some settings to allow you to be able to
manage the Switch from an SNMP-based Network Management
System such as SNMP v1 or to be able to access the Switch using
the
TELNET
protocol. See the next chapter for Web-based network
management information.
