3. Place the right log as shown below. The notch on the bottom right of the log rests on the grate.

Push the log backward until it is in contact with the sloped area between the front and rear
burner. Make sure burner holes are not obstructed.

4. Detail around the burner with ember chunks. Cover any exposed metal between the side of the

grate and the side of the firebox. Stack ember chunks over any portion of the perforated metal
along the front of the unit that IS NOT over the Ember-Glo lights (see picture below to the right).
