Mounting and Assembly Instructions

This section discusses instructions for mounting of the Quick Release Plate

and assembly of the optional battery pack.

Installing Quick Release Plate

The Responder MP2

 TM

printer can be optionally mounted to a Quick Release

Plate for easy installation and removal in vehicle and other applications.

The Quick Release Plate is a fixed plate attached to the surface of a vehicle or

other location, allowing the printer to quickly be attached or removed from its

fixed location.

The printer slides on or off the Quick Release Plate at four attachment points

using wall mount studs screwed in to corresponding mounting holes in the

back of the printer, as shown in the figures below. A latch arm at the bottom of

the wall mount bracket locks and unlocks the printer into place.

Note:  The wall mount studs are installed in place of default rubber feet

installed on the base of the printer, as shown in the image below, using the

same mounting holes.

To install the Quick Release Plate, drill holes for five M3 attachment screws in

the mounting surface of the vehicle or other location, using the Quick Release

Wall mount
studs

Latch arm
