(where
the X values correspond to the serial number of your instrument).
The connection status panel on the info pane will change
from ‘Disconnected’ to ‘Connecting.....’
When a connection has been successfully established, the
connection status panel will display ‘Connected’
and the serial number of the instrument will be displayed on the instrument ID panel.
