The max number of hops for a Tracert connection.

Diagnostic Results
page displays the result of diagnosis.
If the result is similar to the following screen, the connectivity of the Internet is fine.

Note:
Only one user can use this tool at one time. Options “Number of Pings”, “Ping Size” and
“Ping Timeout” are used for
Ping
function. Option “Tracert Hops” are used for
Tracert
function.
4.12.3 Firmware
The page (shown in Figure 4-49) allows you to upgrade to the latest version of firmware
for the router.

New firmware versions are posted at
www.tp-link.com
and can be downloaded for free. If
the router is not experiencing difficulties, there is no need to download a more recent
firmware version, unless the version has a new feature that you want to use.

Note:
When you upgrade the router's firmware, you may lose its configuration settings, so
make sure you write down the router settings before you upgrade its firmware.
To upgrade the router's firmware, follow these instructions:
1. Download the latest firmware upgrade file from the TP-LINK website
(
www.tp-link.com
).
