(p) Carefully remove the Tape securing the
Connector Block upper portion of the
Passenger’s Side Cowl Area. (Fig. 5-11)
(q) Dislodge any Pre-wire Connectors from the
Vehicle Harness.
VERIFY:
the Vehicles VIN and the type of
Connectors in the Connector Block.
If the Vehicle’s VIN is prior to
5TFUY5F16AX120448 there are Three 5P
Connectors in the Connector Block
proceed
with the instructions below (steps r-s).
If the Vehicle’s VIN is
5TFUY5F16AX120448 or later there will
be One 22P Connector in the Connector
Block
perform (steps t-x) on pages 22-23
with V4 ADAPTER KIT (PT398-34112).
FOR VEHICLES WITH THREE 5P
CONNECTORS ONLY ( step r-s)
(r) Disconnect the Black 5P (B 31) Connector.

(s) Plug in the V4 Harness's Black 5P
Connectors in between the Vehicle
Harness's 5P Connectors. (Fig. 5-13)
