Safety edge module
• The safety edge module enables the evaluation of
8,2kΩ safety sensing edges. The safety sensing
edge is a safety device to secure the shear and
crush hazard points.
• It can be connected to the garage door operator
GTZ digital via RJ-plug connection.
• The operators reaction when a safety sensing edge
is triggered can be adjusted in the control menu

8,2kΩ safety sensing edge can must be connected
to the clapms „SKS“ and „GND“ on the module.

Mortal danger due to electric shock!
• Before cabling works will be carried out, the operator system must be necessarily disconnected
from the power supply.
• Make sure that the power supply remains disconnected while cabling works are carried out.
• Lead the connection cable of the safety sensing edge through
the rubber grommet

of the module and connect it to the
clamps „SKS“ and „GND“.
• Then connect the
RJ-plug
of the safety edge module to
the socket on the operator as shown on the picture below.
• The module will be fixed with double-sided tape to the operator.
• Set the requested function of the safety sensing edge in the
menu
