Procedure 5 

Replacement Check 

The power is supplied to the system board by the AC adapter. If either the AC adapter or 
the system board was damaged, perform the following Checks. 

To disassemble the computer, follow the steps described in Chapter 4, 

Replacement 

Procedures

.  

Check 1 

Replace the AC adapter with a new one. If the AC adapter is still not 
functioning properly, perform Check 2. 

Check 2 

Replace the system board with a new one.
