(a)

 

When COPY is selected, the following message appears: 

FLOPPY DISK FORMAT & COPY : VX.XX 
Type select (0:2DD,3:2HD) ? 

(b)

 

Select a drive type number. Selecting 

3:2HD

 will display a message similar to the 

one below. Select a media type number. 

2HD media mode (1:1.20MB, 2:1.44MB)

The following message will appear: 

Insert source disk into drive A: 
Press any key when ready. 

(c)

 

Remove the Diagnostics Disk from the FDD, insert the source disk and press any 
key. The following message will appear, indicating the program has started.

[ FD TYPE ] : HEAD

[ FD TYPE ] : SECTOR   

= XX 

Copy start 

[[ track,head = XXX X ]]

Remove the source disk from the FDD, insert a formatted work disk and press any 
key. The following message will appear and start copying to the target disk.  

Insert target disk into drive A: 
Press any key when ready.

When the amount of data is too large to be copied in one operation, the message 
from step (c) is displayed again. After the floppy disk has been copied, the 
following message will appear: 

Copy complete 
Another copy (1:Yes/2:No) ?

To copy another disk, type

 and the message from step (a) is displayed again. 

Entering 

2

 returns the test program to the DIAGNOSTIC MENU.
