4.18 T2100CT LCD Module
Removing the T2100CT LCD Module
CAUTION:
The T2100CT LCD module is easily damaged. Before removing the
module, refer to Appendix A for precautions on handling it.
To remove the T2100CT’s LCD Module, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-31.
1.
Turn off the power to the computer, then disconnect the AC power cord and all
external cables connected to the computer.
2.
Remove the battery pack, optional memory module, optional PCMCIA card,
display mask and FL inverter board as described in Sections 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 4.11 and
4.17.
3.
Remove the
four M2.5x6 screws
with
ground cable
securing the LCD module to
the back frame of the computer.
NOTE:
Do not remove the remaining screws on the LCD module. These screws secure
the metal cover to the LCD panel.
