4 Replacement Procedures

4.6 Wireless LAN Card

6. Pull the wireless LAN card up and out at an angle.

Installing the Wireless LAN Card

Install the wireless LAN card according to the following procedures and Figures 4-18 and
4-19.

1. Insert the wireless LAN card into the connector at angle of 45 degrees.

2. Tilt the wireless LAN card and fix it with the left and right stoppers.

3. Connect the two antenna cables with the tweezers.

CAUTION

: Do not touch the connectors on the wireless LAN card and in the computer

with bare hands. Wireless LAN cards can fail if they are contaminated with sweat, natural
oils, etc. from your hands.

4. Fix the antenna cables with glass tape.

5. Install the wireless LAN card cover.

6. Fix the cover with one M2x4 black screw.
