I/O module error detection 

  I/O modules have module error information that does not cause an I/O 
access error such as blown internal fuse.    When an I/O module error is 
detected, the error is registered in the system view (I/O module state). 

To obtain detailed information of I/O module error, obtain detailed information 
in GA932 system log. The unit where the error occurred and its slot number 
are displayed. 

 

Table 5-2 shows the target I/O modules for detection and details of detection.

 Some types of G3 I/O modules listed in Table 5-2 detect an I/O error as a minor error when the 

power line of G3 I/O expansion unit is off and on. 

  The minor error shows that an I/O error was detected but soon recovered.
