4.1 Checking the Switch before Startup

Startup
To start GA932, follow the procedure below.
Setup the Node No. by using Node No. setting switch of the module.
Install GA932 to CPU slot of T3/T3h basic unit (BU31*).
Connect to the communication cable of TC-net I/O loop.
Turn on the power of the power supply module.
LED display “POWER” of the power supply module illuminates in green.

Turn on the external power supply for G3 I/O module and the load power
supply.
Share this external power supply and load power supply.
If this is not possible, construct the system so that the external power
supply and load power supply are turned on at the same time (or in the
order of external power supply
→
load power supply).
CAUTION
Turn on the power in the following order:
Turn on the power of GA932, and then turn on I/O
module supply external power and external load
power.
If this order is not followed, it may cause an accident or
damage to the machine due to malfunction.

For system safety, turn off the load power
before the power of GA932 module.
If this order is not followed, it may cause an accident or
damage to the machine.
Share the external power supply for I/O module with the
load power supply whenever possible. If this is not
possible, construct the system so that the external power
supply and load power supply are turned off at the same
time.
