11.1.1.
Running-on on reference points
When the lathe was switched on, or if a fall-out of electric energy occured, it is necessary to put mechanical components for
motion in individual axes in compliance with measuring devices. This is carried out with the aid of running-on on reference
points of the lathe. Description of operations necessary to attain this state is given in the manual.
ATTENTION:
If reference points of the lathe are to be run-on correctly, work with the machine must always be completed
in such a way that individual axes are outside their reference points.
11.1.3
Spindle control
Spindle control makes possible:
◼
spindle start
◼
spindle stop
◼
change of sense of spindle rotation
◼
change of speed step and the speed change
The lathe has a stepwise speed change, the change of the speed step is carried out by hand according to the table. The
spindle stop is activated among others also when any of the safety covers is opened (spindle cover, chip guard).
ATTENTION:
In case of danger depress the „TOTAL STOP“ press button, located on the
operating panel of the lathe and on the control panel of the tailstock machine travel.
The change of the sense of spindle rotation is reached by the change of the sense of the main
electric motor rotation. If you want to engage the speed step, necessary for the required spindle speed, proceed as follows:
◼
set up the required spindle speed in r.p.m on the display.
◼
in accordance with information on the speed step engagement, which is displayed for the given case, adjust position of
operating devices on the headstock according to the appurtenant table.
ADVICE:
Control of activity of the brake is conditional on interruption of electric power supply to the electric motor of the pump for
the hydraulic and lubrication circuit of the gearbox. This activity is not included into the PLC circuit.
ATTENTION!
EXTERNAL DEVICE PORTABLE COMPUTER TO BE CONNECTED OVER INTERFACE
RS 232 - C ONLY WHEN CONTROL SYSTEM IS SWITCHED OFF
NONOBSERVING THIS PROCESS CAUSES RISK OF DAMAGE OF CONTROL SYSTEM OR EXTERNAL
DEVICES WHICH IS CONNECTED.
